I'm very behind on my blogging so I thought I would empty my camera and show what we have been up to!

Happy Halloween!

We had a skeleton, a cute little witch, and a guy in a scary mask this year :) The boys got more candy than they would ever eat and Evyn was really getting into the trick or treating this year. I have a feeling I won't be able to limit her to 5 houses again next year.

Back to School

Connor started 7th grade and Tate started 2nd grade this fall. They are both enjoying school so far. Connor is still playing trumpet in the band and was able to play with the high school band during half time of one of the football games. He has also been playing football for the school team this year. Confirmation class started for him every Wednesday at church and he is also playing some fall basketball. Tate is playing tackle football for the first time this fall. It seems to be going well and we haven't had any injuries yet. His soccer team is also playing in a tournament in a couple of weeks. He continues to go to guitar lessons and knows quite a few songs now. It is fun to listen to him get better and better at it. He also just started an 8 week after school science class that is really enjoys. Whew! As you can see, we have something going on with the kids every single day of the week. This fall has been pretty exhausting but we are having fun watching the kids in all of their activities.

Atlantis

We took the boys to Atlantis in the Bahamas just before school started. What an amazing trip! We had so much fun and can not wait to go back. The boys loved all of the water slides and were able to pretty much run around on their own while we relaxed by the pool. The boys and I tried parasailing for the first time. I can tell you, that will be last time that I do it :)

Summer Update

Baseball, baseball, and more baseball. It seems like all we have done since April is go to baseball games. Both the boys seasons are finally wrapping up and then it will be on to football. One of the highlights of the summer was going to the All-star Home Run Derby. It was so much fun and a once in a lifetime experience.

Missing Mexico

We just got back from a 5 day trip to Puerto Vallarta to celebrate my Mom's 60th birthday. We had a blast! Got in the pool with dolphins, laid on the beach, floated down the lazy river, drank some cervezas, ate good food, and enjoyed family. Thanks for the great vacation Mom!
